EWR GALA Numero 1

Welcome to the February 26, 2008 INAUGURAL edition of Everything Worth Reading. Did I spell inaugural right?

While this isn't truly EVERYTHING you should read, these are a smattering of interesting, kitschy posts by bloggers who follow directions. For those who don't follow directions, well, you know who you are.

Raymond presents understanding Traditional Love Stereotypes About Men and Women posted at Money Blue Book. An all business title for a post about that stupid stupid show Millionaire Match Maker. Not all women are gold-diggers, but this show sure doesn't help the poor women of the world find love. Or poor men. Read on.

the baglady presents Fifteen Years in America — An Introduction — The Baglady posted at xynny. This post proves how truly uninteresting my life is.

James Brausch presents Costa Rican National Parks posted at Costa Rica HQ. I'm including this only because it's pretty. And we like pretty things.

James D. Brausch presents Is Your Keyboard Making You Fat? posted at Weight Loss Dude. Warning: this post contains pictures of a half-naked man in Bermuda shorts. Other than that, see why we can blame computing for making us larger than life.

Madeleine Begun Kane presents Planning To Travel With Friends? Are You Sure That?s Wise? posted at Mad Kane's Humor Blog.

Warren Wong presents How To Get Whatever You Want From Anyone posted at Personal Development for INTJs. Warren claims to know how to get stuff like money or love from anyone you choose. Sex, too. I think he meant this as a serious "how to" post. I'm skeptical but it sure is interesting. Now on with the sex!

Gedaly Guberek shakes it up with some Shakespeare in Is Shakespeare Meant to be Read and Not Performed? The Bard Blog - Shakespeare Info posted at The Bard Blog. I like this post because it brings me back to my undergrad days when I actually read Shakespeare. Maybe it'll bring you back to some bard-times. Get it? Bard times? Unlike hard times? Nevermind. Moving on.

Joe Hitchem presents Stamps - A Sticky Investment posted at Start Stamp Collecting, saying, "How to collect stamps as an investment!" Okay, okay, stamp collecting is not everyone's hobby of choice. But this is something different. Expand your horizons, people!

That concludes this edition. Think you've got something worth reading (that fits into the guidelines of this carnival)? Submit your blog article to the next edition of everything worth reading using our carnival submission form.

Welcome Wagon

In the words of Freddy Washington, Hi there. Thanks for stopping in. Everything Worth Reading is a compilation of good writing and interesting topics in the blog world. I love blogging. I am a blog master. Self-appointed so, of course. I figured I should channel this energy and pay it forward. I present to you the blogs of others. So when you've had enough of me, you can check out everyone else.
